Hello there! My name is Laura Ann Peterson. I'm your friendly neighborhood character actor, proudly born and raised in North Carolina. I discovered my passion for storytelling in fourth grade when I made my unforgettable theatrical debut as Citizen #3 in King Midas and the Golden Palace: The Musical. I was hooked! Since then, I attended Weaver Academy for the Performing Arts, North Carolina Governor's School’s theatre program and Marymount Manhattan College. There I earned BA in Theatre Performance as well as minors in Musical Theatre and Arts Administration. With my degree now in hand, I'm taking on life’s big challenges... auditioning, working and laundry!
What’s Next …
This fall, I will be hopping across the pond to attend Drama Studio London in Ealing. There I will be pursuing my MFA in Professional Acting with Independent Production. If you are in London, make sure to let me know so we can share a cuppa!
